Love, Poetry and Cello

Chamber music from American composers for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano. The program consists of songs about past and present loves told through nature imagery.  The music combines different genres typical for American classical music.  Works by Amy Beach (1867-1944), Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990), Libby Larsen (b.1950) and Jake Heggie (b. 1961).
