Nature trails


Söderlångvik has excellent nature trails varying in length and difficulty. Get your copy of the trail guide at Café Vivan and read more also about the buildings you see along the way. We are constantly developing our activities and new routes are beeing planned.

The Mona trail

The Mona Trail is named after the actress Mona Mårtensson. The trail starts at the manor’s parking lot and continues through the park and along the waterfront and continues through the orchards. There are several charming buildings along the path. Read more about them in the trail guide.

The Ladybug trail

This path is enjoyed by hikers of all ages. It takes you to a vantage point on the eastern edge of the estate.  Here you can see two ancient tombs from the Bronze Age. From the cliff you can see the entire Söderlångvik estate and the surrounding scenery.

Length: approx. 1 km
Difficulty: quite steep and can be slippery when it rains

The Lean-to

On a high rock, about two kilometres southwest of the manor there is a lean-to. The trail leading to the shelter offers a slightly longer trek through island forests and a breathtaking view from the top of the cliff. You can start the trek from the manor.

Length: approx. 5 km (both directions altogether)
Difficulty: forest and rocky terrain

The Jungfrusund old airport

The former Jungfrusund airport, which was used by the Russians in 1916-1918 is located at Örudden approximately 500 meters from the main building. There are ruins and signs with information about the events in the area during the war.
