During the last weekend of August, Söderlångvik Manor will be filled with the finest flavours of the harvest season as chef Pinja Paakkonen arrives to create a unique harvest menu at Restaurant Amos Krog on Kimito Island.
Pinja’s cooking is built on the best seasonal ingredients, local producers, and the natural flavours of the region. The menu is shaped by what the harvest offers at that moment – pure flavours, carefully selected ingredients, and thoughtfully composed combinations. International influences from Copenhagen and Nice add a personal and modern touch to the dishes.
The highlight of the weekend is the seven-course harvest menu served on Saturday, featuring delicacies such as signal crayfish, smoked rainbow trout, porcini mushrooms, perch, duck, and seasonal berries and apples. Each dish is designed to highlight the very best flavours of the season.

Smoked rainbow trout, kohlrabi, cucumber, and pickled spruce shoots
Porcini mushroom and lemon verbena
Perch, fennel, and horseradish
Duck, grilled onion, beetroot, and fermented blueberry
Raspberry, tarragon, and honey
Apple, caramelized yogurt, and roasted buckwheat
