Continuous Cover Forestry Operations to Start in Dalsbruk

3.2.2026

The planned forestry operations near Dalsbruk will begin on 9 February 2026 and the work is expected to last for approximately one week.

The work will be carried out using forestry machinery, and it is important to keep a safety distance of approximately 100 metres from the machines. The harvesting will follow the principles of continuous cover forestry. About one third of the trees will be removed to provide more space for existing seedlings and to support natural regeneration.

Some of the nature trails will be closed while the forestry work is in progress. Signs along the trails will provide information on alternative routes, which will be marked with yellow and blue fibre ribbons.
