Söderlångvik Manor is pleased to welcome Johan Roos as the new Head of Forest, Property and Production Management as of 9 February 2026. Johan will have overall responsibility for the estate’s forests, properties, and production.

Johan has strong roots on Kimitoön. He grew up on the Hertsböle estate, where his father worked as estate manager, and graduated from Kimito Upper Secondary School before continuing his Master’s studies in Economics in Helsinki. Throughout his career, he has worked broadly within finance, banking, product management, the rental industry, and the forestry sector – experience that provides a solid foundation for his new role at Söderlångvik.

For Johan, being close to the operations and the people is essential. He thrives when working together with others as a team towards shared goals. Forestry is particularly close to his heart, as is long‑term planning and practical solutions that work in everyday life.

In his free time, Johan enjoys both hunting and football. He now looks forward to getting to know both colleagues and the operations more deeply.
