Vernissage: LUX Söderlångvik opens on 15 November at 17:00
Welcome to the vernissage at the restaurant of Söderlångvik Manor as the light festival LUX Söderlångvik lights up the autumn darkness! The festival begins on Saturday, 15 November and continues until 14 December.
The vernissage offers a festive atmosphere and will be opened by curator Kaj Martin and Söderlångvik Manor’s CEO Annika Jansson.
This year’s main artist is Alexander Salvesen, whose colourful and thought-provoking light installations spread across the museum park and the manor’s facade. Salvesen works with analogue projection techniques and explores themes such as human perception, nature, and climate change.
Also participating is Alexander Reichstein, who has previously been the main artist of LUX Söderlångvik twice. His imaginative light artworks add a dreamlike atmosphere to the park.
The vernissage is free and open to all, but we kindly ask you to register your attendance.
